Lost/Stolen Green Card (Carrier Documentation)

If you have left your green card in the U.S., you may wish for someone to mail it to you in Australia, so you do not have to apply for the travel document.
Filing fees are final and non-refundable, regardless of any action USCIS or a U.S. Consulate take on your application, petition, request, or if you withdraw your request.
Required Documents
Before an appointment will be scheduled, applicants must email (in PDF format) the following documents to the Consulate where they will need to appear in person to finalize their application.
- Form I-131A: Application for Travel Document (Carrier Documentation)
- Biographic Page of your valid passport
- Filing Fee receipt.

Returning Resident Visa (SB-1)
Who Qualifies? Spouse of U.S. Citizen Required Documents Applicants from NSW, QLD, ACT Applicants from VIC, TAS, SA, NT Applicants from WAA U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) or Conditional Resident (CR) who has remained outside the United States for longer than one year, or beyond the validity period of a Re-entry Permit, will require a new immigrant visa to enter the United States and resume permanent residence.
If you are married to a U.S. citizen who is currently residing in Australia, you may want to consider having your U.S. citizen spouse file Form I-130, Petition for an Alien Relative on your behalf instead.
Before an appointment will be scheduled, applicants must email (in PDF format) Form DS-117: to the Consulate where they will need to appear in person to finalize their application.
In Section 3 of Form DS-117, please ensure that you include your Australian home address, telephone number and email address. Upon receipt of all required documentation, we will contact you with appointment details.

Fingerprint services are only available for:
- Adoption with Forms I-600 and/or I-600A
- Expeditious naturalization Form N-400
- T or U Visas.
- Expeditious naturalization Form N-400
