Consul General Gainer said he was delighted to return to Australia for a three-year diplomatic posting in Perth.

“I’m very grateful to be welcomed to this state by Governor Kim Beazley. As a former Australian Ambassador to the United States, he has a deep appreciation for the relationship between our two nations,” said Consul General Gainer.

“I look forward to continuing to build on the U.S. partnerships here in Western Australia. I’m proud of our strong collaboration in areas such as business, science, technology, defense, and education.

“This is an especially exciting time to be in Western Australia, a state so strategically located in the important Indo-Pacific region.”
