Join us for a virtual discussion on how Australia and the United States are working together in the region to address COVID-19 and deliver new health initiatives within the Indo-Pacific.
This edition of our ‘Diplomacy Delivered’ virtual discussion series will feature Australia’s Ambassador for Regional Health Security, Dr. Stephanie Williams, and the U.S. Embassy’s Deputy Chief of Mission, Michael Goldman, in a conversation moderated by Dr. Varuni Kulasekera.
We’ll cover topics including:
- How are Australia and the United States supporting global efforts to address COVID-19?
- What are both countries doing in the Pacific Islands and what impact is it having?
- How can the newly announced U.S.-ASEAN health futures initiative help to address COVID-19? And how is Australia making a difference in the region?
The discussion will be followed by a live Q&A session, and audience questions are most welcome – please submit them in advance to AskEmbassyCanberra@state.gov.
