Demonstration Alert – U.S. Consulate General Perth (March 18, 2021)
Location: Perth CBD, Western Australia
Event: Protests in Perth CBD March 22-24, 2021
Groups will undertake a series of protest actions based in Supreme Court Gardens on St Georges Terrace in the Perth CBD over the period of March 22-24, 2021. Police are expecting 500-1,000 people to be involved in the demonstrations. Other demonstration activities may occur in the CBD for the remainder of that week.
Actions to Take:
- Avoid demonstrations and crowds.
- Comply with lawful direction from Police and law enforcement.
- Monitor local media for updates.
- Allow extra travel time when moving through the CBD.
